Who can get involved
Young people aged 17 to 25 who have previously spent time in the care of Leeds City Council.
What is involved
- Meet in person every month to share views and experiences with decision makers to improve the offer and services available to care leavers in Leeds.
- Gain information on rights and entitlements when leaving care and build skills supportive of independent living.
- Access training and skill building sessions including children’s rights, democracy, recruitment and selection and debating.
- Opportunities to take part in staff recruitment for Leeds City Council.
- Plan and deliver training and events.
