We run a seven week antenatal course for pregnant women and their partners called

On the course you’ll learn about:
- labour and meeting your baby
- feeding, bathing and practical care of your baby
- how to help your baby develop well
- your health and wellbeing
We deliver the course in local children’s centres across Leeds and it will give you an opportunity to meet other new parents in your area.

Breastfeeding support
Your midwife, health visitor and breastfeeding peer supporters can give you information and support with breastfeeding during pregnancy and when you have had your baby. You can also get advice by:

Parenting courses (Henry programme)
Our parenting courses cover:
- feeling more confident as a parent
- physical activity for young children
- what children and families eat
- family lifestyle habits
- enjoying life as a family
Courses for parents of 0 to 5 year olds
This course is delivered by local Family Outreach Workers or volunteers. It is currently delivered over the phone or by video calls. You will be able to go at your own pace and identify your own goals with your worker.
Buddies service for parents of 5 to 12 year olds
A six week course with a buddy who will support you to look after yourself and your children. You will do 2 to 3 phone or video calls a week at times you agree.
