The Waterfront Enhancement Fund is a grant scheme that has funded projects which are designed to enhance the accessibility and vibrancy of the Leeds city centre waterfront area.
By funding imaginative and high quality projects, we have helped to open up, celebrate and animate the waterfront for residents and visitors to the city to enjoy.
What we have funded
The fund has supported capital costs of projects that are publicly accessible and that encourage people to spend time at, and experience the waterfront area. This has included:
- events and activities
- improvements to public spaces
- provision of public art and other creative arts projects
- health and wellbeing activities
