Public services, charities and businesses can book interpreters and order document translations online.
These services have a cost and you will be charged for them.
Online ordering
The Panacea platform lets Leeds City Council and external organisations:
- book foreign language interpreters for meetings and appointments
- book British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters
- order a translation of any document
- order braille or audio CD versions of any document
Create a Panacea account
Request a Panacea account External site and select
client when you give your organisation's details.
This applies only to clients wishing to book an interpreter or translator. If you are a linguist wishing to join our register, please
visit our 'be an interpreter or translator for the council' page.
When we approve your request, you will get an email with instructions on how to complete your registration.

Book an interpreter
Face to face interpreting may be limited due to coronavirus safety rules, but you can still book interpreters for phone or video appointments.

Log in to Panacea External link and find the service you need.
- Fill in the details, including the date and time of the meeting or appointment, to get a cost estimate.
- Submit the order and wait for a confirmation email.
- After the appointment we'll send you an invoice.
Translate a document or convert it to braille or audio CD

Log in to Panacea External link and find the service you need.
- Enter your document word count to get a cost estimate.
- Upload the document, add to basket and submit your order.
- When the translation, braille or CD is finished, you will get an email notification and an invoice.
