Current vacancies
There are currently vacancies in the office of Parish/Town Councillor for the following Parish/Town councils:
Micklefield Parish Council
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Neil Duff formerly a member of the above Parish Council has ceased to be a member and that a casual vacancy exists in the office of Councillor for the said Parish Council.
On receipt of a request in writing from any ten local government electors for the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the vacancy. If no such request is made the vacancy will be filled by co-option by the Parish Council.
Requests for an election to be held to fill the vacancy must be in writing and must reach the Returning Officer, Leeds City Council, Electoral Services, Civic Hall, Calverley Street, Leeds, LS1 1UR by no later than 5pm on Thursday 14 November 2024.
