Our Local Flood Risk Management Strategy looks at the sources of flooding such as in ordinary watercourses, surface water, sewers (rainfall only), and groundwater.
The strategy also looks at flooding in main rivers and the impact this has locally.
This is used by the Risk Management Authorities in Leeds to manage flood risk, including:
- Leeds City Council
- Environment Agency
- Yorkshire Water
- Ainsty Internal Drainage Board
- Highways England
