Our centres are dedicated spaces designed to support the wellbeing, education, and development of young children while offering a range of services for parents and carers. We work in partnership with local agencies to provide tailored support for families, ensuring every child has the best start in life.
What our centres offer
Services for families
- parenting support: advice and guidance on parenting, education, housing, finances, and accessing specialist services
- family support: one-to-one support for families on topics such as parenting, sleep advice, language enrichment, and home safety assessments
- health services: links to health professionals, breastfeeding support (including pump loans), and baby hubs across Leeds
- childcare and education: access to high-quality childcare and early learning for children aged 3 months to 5 years, including funded places for eligible 2, 3, and 4 year olds
- employment and training: links to Jobcentre Plus, ESOL classes, adult education, and volunteering opportunities to support families returning to or starting work
Children’s activities
- stay and play sessions: play alongside your child and meet other families in a fun and engaging environment
- baby groups: dedicated sessions for babies to explore and interact
- parenting courses: Including HENRY, Starting Solids, and Incredible Babies/Toddlers
Childcare
- flexible day care options, including full day care and funded places for eligible 2, 3, and 4 year olds
- support in finding childcare, including local nurseries and childminders
How we help the community
- outreach services: home visits for families unable to visit the centre
- signposting to services: connections to housing, welfare support, food banks, domestic violence support, and more
- partnerships: working closely with health visitors, Early Start Services, and other local agencies to provide comprehensive support
