Free video calls in British Sign Language (BSL)
SignLive lets you have a three way video call with us and a BSL interpreter.
It is free to call Leeds City Council with SignLive, you just need wifi or mobile data to make the video call.

Call us using text relay
Relay UK is a free phone service for anyone who has difficulty hearing or speaking. It's a way to have a real time conversation with us by text.
Call us with Relay UK from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, except Wednesdays when lines open at 10am.

council department you need, or our general enquiries number: 0113 222 4444.
- An operator at Relay UK will tell us whatever you type into the app, and then type our responses back to you in real time.

If you require a face to face British Sign Language interpreter, please ask the member of staff who will arrange one via an appointment.
