Initial demolition notice relating to:
1-61, Raynville Court, Bramley, Leeds, LS13 2QB
and
1-61, Raynville Grange, Bramley, Leeds, LS13 2QD
Leeds City Council hereby gives notice of its intention to demolish the above premises. As significant investment work was needed to ensure the long term future of the sites, including intrusive and costly strengthening works, an options appraisal was undertaken. The decision has been made for residents to be rehoused, and for subsequent demolition to clear the sites.
The period for demolition will be 1st August 2025 to 30th November 2030.
These Notices will remain in force until 30th November 2030 unless revoked or otherwise terminated in accordance with paragraph 3 of Schedule 5A of the Housing Act 1985 (“the Act”).
While these Notices remain in force, the Council will not be obliged to make such a grant as is mentioned in section 138(1) of the Act for any right to buy claim for any dwellings in the above premises. There may be a right of compensation under section 138C of the Act for any existing right to buy claim.
