Manage your tenancy online

Managing your council tenancy online is quick and easy. Register to access your account online and take advantage of the full range of services available.

What you can do online

When you register to manage your account online you can:

  • book a non-emergency repair
  • view the details of any repairs you've had done in the last 28 days
  • view your up-to-date account
  • download a statement
  • view information about your tenancy
  • request permission for a range of items such as keeping a pet or making alterations to the property

Register

You will need your tenancy reference and an activation code to register to manage your tenancy online.

You can find your tenancy reference on your tenancy agreement or rent statement.

If your tenancy started before August 2021

Your reference number is usually 9 digits long. Do not include the last two digits when registering for the portal.

If your tenancy started after August 2021

Your tenancy reference will start with 'RA' followed by 6 digits. Include all letters and numbers.

If you cannot find your tenancy reference, email HousingEnquiries@leeds.gov.uk including your:

  • full name
  • full address including postcode
  • date of birth
  • National Insurance number
  • email address
  • contact number

If you do not have an activation code, complete the online form to request your activation code and we will supply this code by email. This can take up to 5 working days.

When you register, we will check your identity against the information we hold about you on our system. You will be able to view your account online straight away if the details match.

If your details do not match our records, we will send an email explaining which information was incorrect so you can make another request.

Download a statement

You can download, print or view a statement in your web browser. To do this:               

  • click on the Download a Statement link on navigation menu
  • from the Select your account screen, click on the Download a statement button for the relevant account
  • from the Download Request screen, click on the OK button
  • a red notification will be displayed next to the My Documents link when the statement is ready
  • click on the My Documents link to view the statement

My agreements

Find details about your agreement, including the date the tenancy started, type of tenancy and household members. To get to this:               

  • click on the My Agreements link on the navigation menu
  • if you are listed as a tenant or leaseholder on more than one agreement, select the relevant agreement

If any of this information is incorrect, contact your local housing to have this corrected.               

My communications

View a list of letters which have been sent to you by Housing Leeds. To get to this:               

  • click on the My Communications link on the navigation menu
  • a list a list of letters which have been sent to you by Housing Leeds will be displayed
  • click on the download icon on the right hand side of a letter to open this in a new page
  • you can then download this document to your device or print it

My documents

View a list of statements you have requested. To get to this:               

  • click on the My Documents link on the navigation menu
  • a list of your requested statements will be displayed
  • click on the download icon on the right hand side of a statement to open this in a new page
  • you can then download this document to your device or print it

My profile – Personal details

View the personal information and contact details Housing Leeds hold for you. To get to this:               

  • click on the My Profile link on the navigation menu which opens another menu
  • from this new menu, click on the Personal Details link
  • your personal information and contact details will be displayed

If any of this information is incorrect, contact your local housing to have this corrected.               

My payments

View the most recent transactions on your rent account. To get to this:               

  • click on the My Payments link on the navigation menu
  • a list of transactions will be displayed
  • for more information about a particular transaction, click on the three dots at the end of the row
